On 24 and 25 January, Dr Yasmine Nahlawi, head of Dar Justice, participated in a conference in Damascus, Syria on justice, truth, and equity. Over 50 Syrian civil society organisations that operate inside and outside Syria gathered for two days in a historic conference in which Syrian civil society members discussed the transitional justice process. The conference outcome was the issuing of a series of recommendations directed at the new Syrian authorities as well as Syrian civil society pertaining with regards to the transitional justice process.
